Well it has been a while as not only has my camera broken but my internet is messin about also. After our home school event I decided to keep calm and carry on home schooling seeing the other mums and the childrens work was helpful. The key for me is to focus on the children -more, trying not to be contiually distracted with other project until my children get used the idea that there are AT SCHOOL during set times.
I have also realised that there is a time for the creative curriculum but mostly it is easier for the children to work through a book from pg 1 then pg 2 and so on.
I really feel we need to do some intensive schooling for a whille to make up for the long unschooled period since i took them out of school.

ReplyDeleteWe've been reallly slack for a while and got to pull up my socks so to speak!
.....you could try getting one of the older ones to "teach" something to the younger ones inshallah? .....either something they already can do....or....you could set them a topic to research themselves (thus they learn) and which they then have to teach another sibling after!
